Nueva York 2011: Time to Enjoy & Refresh (PART 1)

Well, to start with, basically, most sidewalks and streets in Brooklyn look like this:

In New York, the Subway System is the best means of transportation. I had to use it every single day to go from one place to another.

F Train Station, Ditmas Avenue

F Train Station, Ditmas Avenue

F Train Station, Ditams Avenue
And this is the story...

Meskerem Restaurant: There's nothing like having varied and great food in the company of family and good friends. That made my day. It was the perfect start for this trip!

124 Macdougal St, New York, NY 10012-1247, Estados Unidos

Delicious Ethiopian Food! Yum!!

Coney Island

The view

Walking there was great. On my left, there was the beach. On my right, there were food stands.

In front of me, all sorts of people.

A scene I liked
I liked this scene in particular. The food stand's design and colors and the wheel behind it.

Does anybody know why this kind of wheel is so important for my family?
Rays of light
It was such a nice view! There was a spot where the sunlight came through the clouds and hit the ocean! So nice!

Isn't this one beautiful?

Nice, isn't it?

Entertainment
eople enjoyed themselves in very different ways
People were relaxed while fishing!

What we could see from the place where we were standing

We were standing here!

And this was the view in front of us (11 o'clock)

And this was the view behind us (7 o´clock)

We took the Subway to Manhattan again and got off on 34th Street stop. We had Japanese food (Shabu-Shabu) at PHO32. I had Sea Food Shabu & Noodles. Here's the recipe:

First, they bring the soup and you need to heat the mini-stove

Second, you add all the vegetables they serve
You leave it there for a while so that the ingredients are cooked
Then, you add the noodles

Finally, the sea food is added to the soup

Enjoy your meal!!!! It was so good!!!

Park Slope Brooklyn: 7th Avenue, 9th Street to Park Pl.

I couldn't believe my eyes (or my ears)!!!I wish I had been inside!

I liked the way this window was decorated!

I found this scene very familiar! Clearner than San José but still!

I liked this place!! Nice, cozy place!! Connecticut Muffin... I recommend the scones...

Take a look at the blackboard and all its details!
